Welcome Home, Paralympic Champions! Willem-Alexander and Margriet Host Reception for Rio Medalists

King Willem-Alexander and his aunt Princess Margriet have welcomed the Netherlands’ Paralympic medalists for a reception at Palace Noordeinde in The Hague today.

They also posed for photographs in the Palace courtyard with the athletes who won 17 gold, 19 silver and 26 bronze medals at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Princess Margriet is a member of the International Paralympic Committee’s Honorary Board.
