Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has joined a number of other royals on Vanity Fair‘s International Best-Dressed List Hall of Fame, after being inducted as one of three people for the year 2016.

Her “most notable ensemble of the year” has been determined as the blue velvet sequinned Jesper Høvring evening gown she wore to the main New Year’s Court for the Order of the Elephant this year (which was a rework of an earlier gown).

Individuals are inducted in the Hall of Fame by “displaying exceptional style throughout the years”.

Past royal inductees include Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, the Duchess of Cambridge, the Prince of Wales, Crown Princess Pavlos of Greece, Grace Kelly and her elder daughter Princess Caroline of Monaco, Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent, Queen Sirikit of Thailand and King Juan Carlos I of Spain.
