Pack Your Bags! Prince Harry To Make Caribbean Tour This Autumn
Kensington Palace has announced today that Prince Harry is to represent the Queen on a tour of the Caribbean later this year.
He will visit several countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Guyana, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines. 2016 is an important year for three of these countries, as this year they celebrate milestone anniversaries of independence from Britain – Barbados celebrates 50 years on November 30, Guyana celebrated 50 back in May, and Antigua and Barbuda celebrates 35 years on November 1.
Prince Harry last visited the region in 2012 as part of the Diamond Jubilee, when he visited Jamaica, the Bahamas and Belize.
