The portraits of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary were taken at Amalienborg and show the couple individually in full gala attire – military dress for the Crown Prince, a gold evening gown and Queen Desiree’s Diamond and Ruby Parure for the Crown Princess. The Museum of National History requested that the portraits be taken by Mr Grob to be included in the exhibition.
Mary wore a simple black chiffon dress with a floral print for the event.
