Princess Eugenie Speaks to Harper’s Bazaar

September issue of Harper’s Bazaar features an interview with Princess Eugenie of York in which she speaks about her daily routine and what matters most to her.

“I get up around 6:45 to start exercising by 7,” she says, before specifying circuits are her favourite “because they’re quick” and she “can’t run for a long time.” It’s then off to work at Hauser & Wirth, the art gallery she began working for last year – “I’ve loved art since I was very little…I love being able to share my passion for art with people.” Her days end either with a charity or art engagement in the evening, or dinner and television (How To Get Away With Murder is a favourite).

Asked what people might not know about her, Eugenie’s reply relates to her scoliosis: “I have metal rods in my back keeping me straight. I was born with scoliosis and had an operation when I was 12. Those rods live with me permanently.”

Eugenie also touches on the close relationship she has with her parents, the Duke of York and Sarah Ferguson, and elder sister Princess Beatrice, as well as her boyfriend Jack Brooksbank (with whom she is “obsessed” with The Walking Dead).

Photos taken to go with the interview show the Princess in the drawing room at Royal Lodge, which sits in Windsor Great Park. Eugenie is wearing two gorgeous floral dresses, one from Alberta Ferretti in a dusty pink, the other from Erdem in black.
