Grand Duke Henri Marks Luxembourg Team Arrival in Rio

As the Luxembourg Olympic Team arrived at the athlete’s village in Rio de Janeiro tonight for their official welcome, they were accompanied by Grand Duke Henri for the reception that followed.

Brazilian dancers provided entertainment to welcome the latest teams to the village, ahead of the raising of the Luxembourg flag. Grand Duke Henri chatted with his country’s ten athletes during the reception.

The Grand Duke is a member of the International Olympic Committee (he has been in Rio for a few days now, attending the 29th IOC Session).
