Food trucks have become all the rage these past few years, and now there is one with a royal connection driving the streets of Los Angeles – ‘The Prince of Venice’, started by Prince Emanuele Filiberto of Savoy.

In an interview with Chi, Emanuele Filiberto – who is one of the two heirs to the disputed Headship of the House of Savoy – said that during a visit to Los Angeles he “realised there were various Mexican and Asian food trucks around” and “thought ‘why don’t I try it?’…With fresh Italian pasta that is loved around the world.”

With chef Mirko Paderno at the helm, the Prince says the food truck “has already become a phenomenon.”

Prince Emanuele Filiberto has appeared on KTLA 5 Morning News recently promoting the food truck, as well as also giving an interview to BOSS Magazine, in which he said that he and his wife, French actress Clotilde Courau, hope to make a move from Europe to LA within the near future.

la linea dei discendenti Savoia e’ una sola, senza possibilita’ di dubbio. Gli Aosta sono un ramo cadetto. Cugini e basta. Trovo patetico il tentativo degli Aosta. Duca D’Aosta e basta.
