Crown Princess Margareta Welcomes Guests From France
Yesterday, a delegation of civic and business representatives from France visited the Elisabeta Palace as guests of Her Royal Highnesses Crown Princess Margareta and Prince Radu. Princess Maria was also in attendance.
The Royal Family of Romania website stated that the delegation included members of the members of the Unité Association Capétienne including His Royal Highness Prince Charles-Philippe d’Orléans and Mr Jacques-Henri Auclair, president of the association. Their visit to Romania included travelling across the country from Bucharest to Transylvania and Sinaia before returning to the capital.
Both Princesses looked cool and summery, with Crown Princess Margareta wearing a pale blue dress and navy blue accessories, and Princess Maria wearing a pleated white skirt and blue blouse. After the formal but friendly greetings, the visitors took a tour round the Palace before planting a Memorial Tree in the garden – as is the custom at Elisabeta Palace – then returned inside for lunch.
The event went well and the guests expressed a desire to return to Romania on an annual basis and some even pledged support for the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation.
