Jubilee Park Opened in Oslo By Royal Grandchildren
Four of King Harald and Queen Sonja’s grandchildren today were on hand to help open the Jubilee Park at Dronningparken which sits in the grounds of the Royal Palace of Oslo.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus, Leah Isadora and Emma Tallulah Behn each planted a rowan tree as part of the opening, which included the unveiling of an ‘insect hotel’ that was the gift of the City of Oslo to the King for his 25th anniversary on the throne. The structure is designed to assist the biodiversity of the park.
King Harald and Queen Sonja’s two remaining grandchildren, step-grandson Marius Borg Hoiby and eldest granddaughter Maud Angelica Behn, had planted their trees on Friday as they were unable to attend today’s event.
