Charles and Camilla Attend ‘Big Lunch’ in Gloucestershire
While the rest of the royal family were in London for the Patron’s Lunch, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were in Gloucestershire, attending the local Big Lunch with their neighbours.
The pair sat, chatted and ate egg sandwiches and cakes with over 100 locals, not letting the damp weather ruin any spirits. A number of children participated in the costumer competition, dressing up as Kings, Queens and even corgis.
Camilla, who is patron of the Big Lunch, an annual event held to mark the Queen’s birthday, brought along a Union Jack-decorated cake made by the Clarence House cooks as her contribution to the party.

I wonder what the food tasted like? Prince George should have been with grandpa! I bet he would have enjoyed the children in costumes!
