At a boxing club in south-east London, Prince Harry today met with a number of young people who have used the club to help improve their lives and help them feel empowered.

The Prince spent time speaking with several boxers about what the Double Jab Amateur Boxing Club has done for them, and spoke the Club’s founder Patrick Harris about what the club was designed to achieve: discipline, a sense of wealth, and a sense of belonging.

He then presented all the boxers with achievement medals before watching a gender neutral training session. Prince Harry also gave a four-year-old some ‘pro tips’, particularly how to protect his face.

The visit was made in conjunction with the charity Sported, which provides mentoring support to youth sports clubs.
