Prince Philip Opens New Water Reservoir, 50 Years After Opening the First
The Duke of Edinburgh dropped by Cambridgeshire today to open a new £28 million water storage reservoir at Grafham Water.
Back in 1965, Prince Philip opened the original reservoir. At today’s event, he met with a number of individuals who were there for that opening and who have worked at the facility in the years since.
He also raised a new flag to represented Grafham Water that was designed by local schoolboy Luis de Pina.
