Queen Silvia’s Surprise Visit To Hamburg

The people who were shopping in Hamburg, Germany yesterday afternoon were in for a big surprise. Queen Silvia made an unaannounced visit to the Clas Ohlson luxery hardware store. The Swedish-owned store was opened only a day before.

The news that Queen Silvia visited the shop spread quickly. While the queen was shown around the electronic tools and furniture a large group of spectators and press quickly gathered outside.

The Queen told Bild newspaper: “This city is really marvelous, I hope I will be able to come back soon.” Afterwards the queen left for Bremen to visit a project to help traumatised children of refugees.
