Dutch Royals Dress Up For Diplomatic Corps

  May 20, 2016 at 6:19 am by

Yesterday evening the Dutch royal family hosted a reception for the diplomatic corps in the royal palace in Amsterdam. Since the enthronement of King Willem-Alexander we are able to see some photos of the royal ladies and their jewels as they left the palace.

Queen Máxima recycled a red dress by Natan from 2006. She paired it with the ruby tiara of Mellerio parure. She attached a brooch of the parure to the middle part of the stomacher of the same parure, a first. Princess Beatrix wore her favourite diamond tiara while Princess Margriet wore the pearl-button tiara.
