Orange-Clad Máxima Attends Climate Conference
As Special Advocate of the UN Secretary General for Inclusive Finance for Development, today Wednesday May 11, Her Majesty Queen Máxima was present at the international climate conference “Adaptation Futures 2016” at the World Trade Center in Rotterdam.
Adaptation Futures is a biennial meeting of the Global Programme of Research on Climate Change Vulnerability, Impacts and Adaptation (PROVIA). This year the European Commission and the Netherlands are co-host of the fourth edition of the event. The conference, opened yesterday in Rotterdam, will last until Friday May 13 and is focused on the impact of climate change.

The purpose of the conference is to promote practices and solutions for people, governments and businesses about the climate change. Adaptation Futures is open to scholars, policymakers and business people from all around the world to learn about solutions with the help of workshops, panel, round tables and exhibitions.
