Queen Mathilde Baptises a New Installation Vessel
Today, Thursday April 28, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde of the Belgians baptised a new dredging installation vessel, Vole Au Vent, in the port of Ostend in West-Flanders in the presence of the Governor of the West-Flanders, Carl Decaluwe and the State Secretary for Social Fraud, Privacy and the North Sea Bart Tommelein.

The vessel, from the company Jan De Nul Group, is 140 meters long and 41 meters wide, a lifting capacity of 1,400 tons and a 3,100 square meters of free deck space.
In early May the new vessel will be used fot the project called Nobel Wind, a construction of the fourth new large wind farm at sea in the Belgian North Sea. After the ship launching ceremony, the Queen visited the vessel along with the captain of the ship and she also signed the baptism certificate.
