Just four weeks after giving birth to her second child, Prince Oscar, Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria was back at work last night as she attended the Dag Hammarskjold Lecture given by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at the Stockholm City Hall.

Wearing a simple black dress with a gold evening coat, Victoria appeared to be her usual bright self – though a little more tired! – as she listed to the lecture that was on the topic “Evolving threats, timeless values: the United Nations in a changing global landscape”.

This lecture is held annually by Uppsala University and the Dag Hammarskjold Foundation in memory of Dag Hammarskjöld, the Swedish United Nations Secretary-General between 1953 and 1961.

The Crown Princess is one of the newly appointed UN advocates for the new Sustainable Development Goals.
