Flashback Friday: A Young Prince Charles On Archaeological Dig
Back in 1968, Prince Charles was a student at Trinity College, Cambridge undertaking a course in archaeology and physical and social anthropology.
As part of his studies, the 19-year-old Prince went to France and Jersey on archaeological digs in March and April that year. In the below photo, dated April 1, 1968, he is seen taking part in an excavation at a Palaeolithic site in La Cotte de St Brelade, Jersey.
