Prince Ali Looses FIFA Elections

Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein has lost the FIFA presidential elections to Gianni Infantino. The elections were held in Zurich and five members including Prince Ali were running to be the next FIFA presidential.

After the results were made, Prince Ali tweeted “Thank you to all who supported me in my campaign, especially the FIFA Member Associations who stood with me in support of meaningful reform”. He also then tweeted “Congratulations to Mr. Infantino on his victory. I truly hope the reforms approved today are more than a band aid & lead to a better #FIFA”.

Prince Ali, 40 years old is President of Jordan Football Association and founder and president of the West Asian Football Federation and former Fifa vice-president.
