Story Time with Camilla – How Wondercrump!

The Duchess of Cornwall delighted youngsters at the Wondercrump World of Roald Dahl exhibition in London today, when she took to the stage to read a chapter of the author’s The BFG to them.

Wearing a bright purple skirt suit and a pair of floral brooches, the Duchess animatedly read to the audience, which included Roald Dahl’s widow Felicity and his grandson Luke, who manages the Roald Dahl Literacy Estate.

She had earlier been shown around the interactive exhibition and joined students in adding her contribution to the ‘Dream Jar’ project. Royal dreams apparently involve red squirrels.

Camilla was also named patron of Roald Dahl 100, the celebration of the author’s birthday 100 years ago. A number of events will be held around the United Kingdom throughout the year.
