Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary tonight attended the live show put together as part of Danmarks Collection’s annual fundraiser at the Tivoli Concert Hall. They also stopped by the call centre and spoke with volunteers manning the phones taking donations during the show, broadcast on DR.

The couple are patrons of the organisation, which this year is focusing its fundraising efforts to benefit those suffering from the “human consequences of extreme poverty” in third-world countries.

Princess Mary kept her look simple for the event, wearing a black trouser suit with a lace blouse.

Frederik and Mary’s foundation made a donation of 250,000DKK, while Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik’s foundation made a donation of an undisclosed sum.
