Queen Elizabeth Hosts Annual Christmas Lunch at Buckingham Palace
Another of Europe’s royal houses has marked the Christmas holidays, with Queen Elizabeth II hosting her annual Windsor family Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace.
Like they do every year, members of the extended Windsor clan were photographed as they drove – or walked, in the case of Sir Timothy Laurence and Lord Freddie Windsor – through the gates of the Palace upon their arrival for the event.
Among those seen arriving were the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, the Duchess of Cambridge with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Prince Harry, Princess Eugenie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, Autumn Phillips and her youngest daughter Isla, and Zara and Mike Tindall with daughter Mia.
The Kent and Gloucester branches of the family also saw near-complete attendance, including the Duchess of Kent, who rarely attends royal engagements.
