On November 13, Prince Harry attended his first ever Royal Variety Performance at Royal Albert Hall. Last year his brother Prince William was in attendance.

Prince Harry met Sir Elton John, Little Mix, One Direction, Kylie Minogue, the cast of the musical adaption of Mary Poppins, Ricky Martin, Alesha Dixon, Jules O’Dwyer and her dog Matisse (the winners of this year’s Britain’s Got Talent), Jack Whitehall, Beverley Knight, Jeff Lynne, Jimmy Tarbuck, The Corrs, Josh Groban and Kacey Musgraves. The Cirque de Soleil also performed at the event.

UK residents will be able to watch the Royal Variety Performance on ITV when it airs in December. The Royal Variety Performance is an annual charity event of which the Queen is patron. The aim of the charity is to help those from the entertainment business who are in need of care.
