Sorry Bro! William Cheers As His Team Defeats Harry’s England
The daggers were thrown at Twickenham Stadium this evening, as Prince William and Prince Harry were in the crowd as Wales took out a nail-bitting 28-25 win over England in their pool match of the Rugby World Cup.
Prince William, who is the Vice Royal Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, and his wife Kate leapt to their feet and cheered as Wales scored a penalty in the final minutes of the match. Prince Harry, Honorary President of England Rugby 2015 and Vice Patron of Rugby Football Union, meanwhile watched them glumly and shot a glare in his brother’s direction as his team’s hopes of World Cup glory now rely on them defeating two-time world champions Australia in their next match.
The excitement and tension was clear on all three royals’ faces throughout the entire match.
Earlier in the evening, the Cambridges were seen singing to both the English and Welsh national anthems ahead of the match. The couple were wearing Welsh red – William a jacket and Kate a scarf – while Harry donned a white English polo shirt.
