A Rainy Gråsten Palace Photo Session
The Danish Royal Family didn’t let the wet weather dampen their spirits on Saturday, when they posed for photographers in the gardens of Gråsten Palace for their annual summer (ironic, given the gloomy skies) photo session.
Queen Margrethe and Prince Henrik were joined by their eldest son, Crown Prince Frederik, and his family, as well as the Queen’s niece Princess Alexandra of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and her family, for the shoot.
Photos were taken with the family sitting along a rain-soaked bench, some of the older children cringing at having to sit on the wet cushions for a short period (the photo session didn’t last as long as previous years because of the weather).
