Charles, Camilla and Edward Attend Waterloo Anniversary Service
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall represented the Queen at the national memorial service marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo today. They were joined by the Earl of Wessex, and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.
Taking place at St Paul’s Cathedral, the service was led by with current soldiers from the the regiments and Colours which took fought in Waterloo participating. Readings from diaries written by soldiers who took part in the battle were read to the congregation, while the Duke of Wellington also gave a speech.
Later that evening, Charles and Camilla attended a gala banquet hosted by the Duke and Duchess of Wellington at Apsley House.
