Prince Hashem bin Al Hussein of Jordan and his wife Princess Fahdah welcomed on Monday a baby boy named Al Hussein Haidara bin Hashem.

The birth of the new prince was announced through an official statement released by the Royal Hashemite Court this evening. Baby Prince Al Hussein Haidara is the couples’s forth child following his three elder sisters, Princesses Halat Al Noor, Raiyat Al Noor and Fatima A Alia.

Prince Hashem, who is the youngest among the late King Hussein of Jordan’s five sons, was born in 1981. His mother is the American born Queen Noor. He was educated in the USA and currently serves in the Jordanian Army.

In 2006, the Prince tied the knot with his Saudi wife, Fahdah Abunayyan, who also belongs to the wealthy Saudi family Al Sudairi on her mother’s side.
