Chocolate Named After Romanian Royals
Crown Princess Margarita and Prince Radu of Romania have had a chocolate range named after them by one of the official suppliers to the Royal House.
Three new lines of chocolate – ‘HRH Princess Margarita’, ‘HRH Prince Radu’ and ‘Peles Castle’ – were launched during a presentation at the Elisabeta Palace today. They have been produced by the company Kandia Dulce, forming the ‘Kandia Regal’ range, and each have a different cocoa content.
Princess Margarita delivered a speech at the presentation, recalling how the Romanian Royal Family has encouraged the production of chocolate domestically for over a century. “Each generation, starting with King Carol I and Queen Elisabeta, have had their names bound in chocolate. There was even a ‘Queen Maria’ chocolate factory founded in 1919,” she said.
Music performances by two participants in the ‘Young Talents’ program arranged by the Princess Margarita of Romania Foundation were heard during the event.

Heavenly admiration to the Crown Princess Margarita and the Prince Radu of Romanua!
It was high time that The Royal Forums Blog gave us some info on the events related to the many activities innitiated by the Romanian Royal Fammily members. It is a mystery to me, though, how come that so many other activities involving our beloved King Michael I, Crown Princess Margareta, Princes Radu and Nicolae (and other Royal Family members) ae so rarely recorded and posted by this Forum. Not just us, the Romanians, but other people from outside Romania as well, should know about the very busy agenda of the Romanian Royals who, for 25 years now, are contributing so generously to the shaping up of a new life here, carving a bright future for Their people. It was on the 18th of January that HRH Crown Princess Margaret celebrated Her qarter of a century constant care for the talented, needy or sick old people in Romania through Her Foundation. Gratitude is a pale word as compared to what we owe to our beloved Royal Family.
