Windsors Celebrate Easter At Windsor
Members of the British Royal Family have attended a service to mark Easter Sunday today at St George’s Chapel, Windsor. The Dean of Windsor, Right Reverend David Connor, led the service.
Queen Elizabeth and the Duke of Edinburgh were joined by the Duke of York and his daughter Beatrice, the Earl and Countess of Wessex with their daughter Louise, and the Princess Royal and Vice Admiral Timothy Laurence. Peter and Autumn Phillips were also there, as were Lady Sarah Chatto and her husband Daniel.
Blues and natural tones – as well as florals – were the colours of choice for the royal women. The Countess of Wessex probably took the prize for ‘most interesting headgear’, donning a fascinator-style hat covered in dark brown and orange feathers.
The Queen annually spends the Easter holiday at Windsor Castle. The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall traditionally spend the holiday in Scotland.Filed under The United Kingdom
