King Albert Presents Prince Albert Fund 2015 Diplomas

King Albert today presented the Prince Albert Fund diplomas for 2015 in a ceremony at the Federation of Enterprises in Belgium offices in Brussels. He was accompanied by his daughter, Princess Astrid.

The Fund, which this year celebrates its thirtieth anniversary, provides scholarships to young professionals so they can work on a project for a Belgian company abroad. Over 360 individuals have received scholarships sine 1984.

During the event, a new phase of the Fund was announced: Prince Albert Fund 2.0. This phase will see an increase in focus on small businesses and start-ups and has an increased budget (2.5million€ is expected to be raised by mid-2016 to fund 100 grants of 25,000€).
