Princess Louise-Marguerite of Orléans, the little daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Vendôme, who are pretenders to the former French throne, was christened at the Royal Chapel in Dreux, France last weekend.

Her godparents are Archduke Michael of Austria, Alvaro de Orléans y Borbón, the Duke of Luynes, Princess Sibilla of Luxembourg and Princess Marguerite of Liechtenstein. The assistants at the christening were Princess Marie-Thérèse, Duchess of Montpensier, Princess Blanche of Orléans, Prince Eudes, Duke of Angoulême and Princess Marie-Liesse of Orléans.

The Duke and Duchess of Vendôme stated that Prince Gaston was christened at their parish church in Paris, whilst Princess Antoinette was christened in Vienna. They also said that as they are currently residing in Dreux, they thought it was only appropriate that little Princess Louise-Marguerite should be christened there.
