Serbian Crown Prince Opens Summit of Cardiologists

On 5 April crown prince Alexander II of Serbia opened the 5th international summit of interventional cardiologists in the Hotel M Bern Western in belgrade. The conference will last until 8 April. In his speech at the conference, the crown prince said: ‘I am proud that my wife, crown princess Katherine is member of the board of the Foundation ‘For Your Heart’ which will help reduce the number of deaths from cardiovascular disease.”

During the conference, there will be training courses on bifurcations as well as a clinical seminar on coronary physiology. The top international experts from this field will do numerous interventions on Serbian patients. The summit will be attended by a large number of Serbian and international experts, who were invited to by crown prince Alexander II and his wife crown princess Katherine to a reception in the White Palace in Belgrade, on sunday 5 April.
