The Duchess of Cambridge celebrated her 32nd birthday on January 9. It is not known how Kate will celebrate her birthday, but many magazines and newspapers have been speculating about her celebrations.

The Duchess of Cambridge (née Catherine [better known as “Kate”] Elizabeth Middleton) was born on 9 January 1982 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Berkshire, England. Her parents are Michael and Carole (née Goldsmith) Middleton and her siblings are Philippa (better known as “Pippa”) and James Middleton. From 1984-1986, Kate and her family lived in Amman, the capital city of Jordan. During her time in Amman, Kate attended an English language nursery school.

When she returned to England, Kate attended St. Andrew’s School and then Downe House (but only very briefly) – both schools are in Berkshire. After leaving Downe House, she attended Marlborough College in Wiltshire. After she had completed her secondary education, she went to study at St. Andrew’s University in Scotland, where she graduated with an undergraduate MA in the History of Art. In 2006 she started working at Jigsaw, a clothing chain.

In 2011, she married The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, at Westminster Abbey in London. They met whilst both studying at St. Andrew’s University. In 2013, their first child, Prince George of Cambridge (George Alexander Louis) was born at St. Mary’s Hospital in London.
