Sheikh Tamim’s Visit To Morocco

Emir of Qatar, HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani paid a two day visit to Morocco where he met with HM King Mohammed VI. The meeting took place at the Marrakech royal palace in the presence of HRH Prince Moulay Rachid, Sheikh Joann Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani. HM King Mohammed VI awarded Sheikh Tamim the Al Mohammadi Wissan (exceptional rank). The two leaders witnessed the signing of four cooperation agreements; Tax, Qatar’s funding development projects in Morocco, scientific, technical, technological and administrative cooperation, and the fourth was infrastructure projects.

Later that evening, The Emir attended the dinner banquet hosted by King Mohamed VI in honour of HH the Emir and the accompanying delegation. The banquet took place at the Royal Palace in Marrakesh.
