Sheikha Mozah and Royals Inaugurate “WISH”

Qatar Foundation Chairperson Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser Al Missnad inaugurated the World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH).

The inauguration was held with a gala dinner with the attendance of Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco and the Duke of York, Prince Andrew. Sheikha Mozah spoke at the event by saying “Innovation is not only about finding better treatments, rather to produce methods to reduce the need for those treatments.”

She went, “I am confident that this conference will serve as a platform that is far-reaching and more stimulating in innovating appropriate solutions to control the pressing health challenges of today, some of which form the research themes of discussion in the conference sessions.”

Speaking also at the event was Lalla Salma who spoke about an innovative cancer programme launched by her foundation Lalla Salma Institute for Fight Against Cancer.
