Belgian Official Visit To Luxembourg
King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium made a one-day visit to Grand Duke Henri and Grand Duchess Maria Teresa of Luxembourg on Monday December 2th.
The Royal Couple was accompanied by the Belgian Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo and the Vice-Premier and Foreign Minister Didier Reynders.
Arriving at 11 o’clock, the King and the Queen were welcomed by the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess, and after the inspection of the troops, they went to the Grand Ducal Palace. At the Palace, after the official photo, the Royal Couples were joined by Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and the Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie, for a private lunch in honor of Their Majesties.
In the early afternoon, King Philippe met the Prime Minister of Luxembourg, Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the Chamber of Deputies and representatives of the Belgian community in Luxembourg.
