William & Catherine Kick Off Race

It was a surprise and last minute attendance by the Duchess of Cambridge to join her husband, the Duke of Cambridge, to kick off the Ring of Fire race on August 30.

It’s the first official outing for the Duchess after giving birth to Prince George just 5 weeks ago.

The Duke and Duchess, joined by the crowd, counted down to start the race. Prince William then rang the bell to start the race which will last 3 days along the coast.
