Buckingham Palace has announced today that the child of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will get the title Prince or Princess of Cambridge.

A palace spokesman said, “The royal couple’s child will officially be known as His or Her Royal Highness the Prince or Princess of Cambridge.”

The Mayor of Cambridge, Councillor Paul Saunders, said “It is a great honour and I’m sure the people of Cambridge will appreciate it greatly.” He also said “I think it’s lovely to continue the close link with the Royal family. I think anything which helps to keep Cambridge in the public eye is a good thing as we rely on tourism.”

The Duke and Duchess are expecting their first child any day, the given due date is July 13. The baby is to be born at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London.

The British royal couple appear very much in love with each other. What a beautiful thing to see these two people joyful of the company of each other. It is wonderful that they are allowed with each other.

  2. The whole world loves this family, so I was thinking that, we, the whole world, could be Spiritual godparents to the up coming bundle of joy. May the Lord our God the Father bless your whole family, Amen.
