Ahead of tomorrow’s civil wedding ceremony of Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Countess Stéphanie de Lannoy, several more details have emerged about the religious ceremony on Saturday.

The Court has confirmed the complete bridal party – the couple’s witnesses, the maids of honour and the younger attendants. Prince Félix, Don Lawrence Doimi de Frankopan, Baroness Philippa von und zu Bodman and Princess Louise zu Stolberg-Stolberg will act as the witnesses to the marriage; while Guillaume’s sister Alexandra and Stéphanie’s niece Antonia Hamilton will be the maids of honour. The younger attendants will be comprised of the couple’s nieces and nephews: Prince Gabriel de Nassau, Countess Caroline de Lannoy, Countess Louise de Lannoy, Isaure de le Court, Lancelot de le Court and Madeleine Hamilton.

Other information which has been reported is that 3,000 roses will decorate the Cathédrale Notre Dame, and the couple’s wedding rings will be made from fair trade gold. The statue of the Virgin Mary in the cathedral will also be adorned with a lace veil which belonged to the Countess’s late mother Alix, and will also wear a robe made from Grand Duchess Maria Teresa’s wedding dress.

In guest news, Ari Behn has cancelled his attendance. Princess Märtha Louise will attend the wedding with her parents, brother and sister-in-law. The Japanese Crown Prince has arrived in Luxembourg, as has Princess Lalla Salma of Morocco.
