Princess Máxima on Sustainable Banking

Princess Máxima attended the seminar ‘Global Alliance for Banking on Values’ at the Triodos Bank in Zeist this morning.  The seminar was held to mark the foundation of a cooperation between 12 international, sustainable banks. Apart from princess Máxima , mr. A. Steiner, director-general of the UN environmental programme UNEP and vice secretairy general of the UN also held a speech.

In her speech, princess Máxima spoke about the importance of an accessible, transparent and sustainable financial sector. In the audience were several politicians, academics, CEO’s from international and Dutch banks, as well as princess Irene of The Netherlands, sister of Queen Beatrix.
