Annual Gala for Stortinget

Yesterday the Norwegian Royal attended the annual Gala for Stortinget – the Norwegian Parliament.

King Harald and Queen Sonja received the representatives of the Parliament representatives in the Palace which is part of a 100-year-old tradition. The Gala for Stortinget is hosted since 1906. King Haakon was the first one who invited invited the members of the Stortinget to dinner in the first parliamentary year after he became king of Norway.
