The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester in the past few months have welcomed not one, but three granddaughters. First to be born on 20th May 2010 was The Lady Cosmia Rose Alexandra Windsor. Cosima is the second baby for Alexander and Claire Ulster (otherwise known in royal circles as The Earl and Countess of Ulster, and heir to the Gloucester title). The couple married on 22nd June 2002 at the Queen’s Chapel in St James’s Palace and have a son, Xan Richard Anders Windsor (titled Lord Culloden) born in March 2007.

In June 2010, Lady Davina and her husband Gary Lewis welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Senna Lewis. Davina and Gary were married on 31st July 2004 in a very private ceremony in the chapel at Kensington Palace attended only by the immediate Gloucester family with no other royals present. Gary Lewis is the first member of the Royal family to come from Maori descendant and has a son Ari (b.1992) from a previous relationship.

Finally in early July 2010, Lady Rose and husband George Gilman welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lyla Gilman. Rose and George were married on 19th July 2008 at the Queen’s Chapel in St. James’s Palace. Their wedding was attended by a number of royals including the Princess Royal, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton.
