The Last Day in Malaysia

The final day of the 3-day official visit to Malaysia started with the visit to an exhibition on Norwegian architecture in Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition was officially opened by Crown Princess Mette-Marit and deals with the relationship between nature and architecture.
After Mette-Marit’s opening speech she and the Crown Prince met many of the more than 150 Norwegians who also attended the opening.

Prince Haakon also attended a seminar on sustainable forestry management and climate. Afterwards he and Mette-Marit visited the facilities of two of Norway’s largest industrial players in Malaysia.

Later the day the Crown Princely couple were seen posing in front of Malaysia’s landmark: Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque in Shah Alam outside Kuala Lumpur.
The couple was also given a guided tour of the Aker Solutions facility. This was their last engagement during their visit to Malaysia.
