Abdullah & Rania Inaugurate First Children’s Hospital in Jordan

Their Majesties King Abdullah and Queen Rania inaugurated the country’s first hospital for children with paediatric specialties, the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Paediatrics Hospital. The hospital will cater to children from the age of 1 day old to 16 years. The hospital will co-ordinate with other hospitals in the US and the UK for consultations and cooperation.

Their Majesties also inaugurated the launch of the Al Hussein Medical Centre development scheme. The project’s coincides with the 11th anniversary of the death of His Majesty the late King Hussein and King Abdullah’s accession to the throne.
