Engagement of Princess Nathalie and Alexander Johannsmann

The Danish Royal Court has today announced the engagement of HH Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg to Mr Alexander Johannsmann. The statement read:

Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte and His Highness Prince Richard of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg have the pleasure to announce that Her Highness Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg has become engaged to Mr Alexander Johannsmann.

Princess Nathalie is the youngest daughter of HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark and HH Prince Richard zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, while Mr Johannsmann is a German national from the town of Gütersloh, near Bielefeld. Both Nathalie and Alexander are in the equestrian field. The statement released by Kongehuset also stated that the couple has just departed for a holiday in Australia and will return to Germany later this month.
