Christmas Photos 2009

Yesterday the Royal Family of Norway gathered together for the annual Christmas shooting at the Palace.
In the Great Hall a giant gingerbread house was set up and decorated in the traditional way.
King Harald and Queen Sonja, Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Princess Ingrid Alexandra, Prince Sverre Magnus and Marius took part in this year’s photo shooting.

The gingerbread house was large enough so the children can actually play in it.
Videos of the Christmas photo shooting show the exited children of the family exploring the inside and the decorations of the house.

This year the Royal couple will celebrate Christmas together with Princess Märtha Louise and her family on Kongsseteren. The Crown Princely family will spend the holidays at their cabin in Uvdal.
