The wedding of Princess Adelaide d’Orleans and Pierre-Louis Dailly took place on June 1st, 2002, at the Church of Santa María Magdalena, in Villamanrique de la Condesain (near Sevilla), Spain .
The civil ceremony took place in Fontainebleau (France), on April 27th 2002.

The bride's gown was designed by John Galliano, while the art-deco diamond and sapphire tiara belonged to Adélaide's grandmother, princess Isabelle d'Orléans-Bragança, and it was made by the jeweller Mellerio, in 1931.

Among the guests, there were the King and Queen of Spain, the Prince of Asturias, the Duke of Lugo, Infanta Pilar, Beltran Gomez-Acebo and Laura Ponte, Dona Teresa de Orleans-Brangança, the Dukes of Calabria with their daughters, the Duke of Bragança, Princess Kalina of Bulgaria, Archduchess Catharina of Austria and her husband Massimiliano Secco.

The tiara was given to the countess of Paris as a wedding gift from the French royalists.

beautiful bride.

just curious, does anyone know what she and her (then new) husband do for a living?

I'm always curious about that regarding "second-tier" royals, meaning those 'blue blooded' persons who cannot count on the faithful taxpayers of their respective (former) subjects to pay the bills! (incidentally my mother in law used to live in PAris for a number of years and consequently has a couple of (french, I think) princesses in her circle of friends, and from what I know, most of these, despite the fact they have royal titles, don't have much money! Which I find an interesting situation, to have a prestigious title but not the money one would historically expect to go with that!

Thanks Elsa M. for the photos. I love her wedding gown (Hmm, I guess I like most wedding gowns :)). That's very interesting about the tiara. Thanks for the information.

I thought Adélaïde had a job that had something to do with the luxury fashion industry - blabla manager of something, but I can't remember what.

She's one of the most glamorous women in Spain. Paloma Cuevas manages her family company (I believe oil production, or something like that), but she's more well known for both her father, Victoriano Valencia, and husband, Enrique Ponce, being famous bullfighters.

Here, Princess Cristina de Borbón Dos-Sicilas and her husband, Pedro Lopez Quesada. By Cover:

Does anyone have a close up picture of the tiara?
I really like her wedding dress- very pretty, simple and elegant

The couple now have 2 children: Diego and Almudena Dailly.
