Saudi King and President Obama meet in London

Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and US President Barack Obama held talks on Thursday on the sidelines of a G-20 summit. Reuters reports that the two leaders”reaffirmed the long-standing, strong relationship between the two countries” and they also talked about “international cooperation regarding the global economy, regional political and security issues, and cooperation against terrorism,” the White House said, according to Reuters.

Dubai’s Ruler aiming to win Kentucky Derby

Dubai’s ruler Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum has decided to participate in the kentucy derby after two of his three-year-old colts dominated the UAE races. All passengers on a Scandinavian Airlines System flight from Copenhagen Airport to Chicago, which also carried Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, were evacuated yesterday as a passenger remarked that he had a bomb in his backpack.
