Another of Europe’s royal houses has marked the Christmas holidays, with Queen Elizabeth II hosting her annual Windsor family Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. The Duke of Kent Turns Eighty

The Duke of Kent Hospitalised with Hip Injury

The Duke of Kent has been hospitalised with a hip injury, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson has confirmed. “I can confirm that the Duke of Kent was admitted to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary in Scotland for treatment of a hip injury,” the spokesperson said. The Duke was admitted on Sunday. It is believed he suffered a dislocated hip while staying on the Balmoral Estate.
