Prince Philip Admitted to Hospital with Infection

Buckingham Palace announced this morning that the Duke of Edinburgh was last night admitted to hospital “as a precautionary measure” as he has contracted an infection from a “pre-existing condition”. The Duke is currently receiving treatment at King Edward VII hospital in London, but was not admitted as an emergency.
